Cecilia Hae-Jin Lee is a writer, artist, photographer, chef, and producer. She has authored several travel guides and cookbooks, namely on Korea and Mexico. She has been a freelance contributor and restaurant reviewer for the LA Times Food section, where she was also one of Jonathan Gold's restaurant scouts, and is a James Beard Foundation Award nominee. Her first cookbook,Eating Korean(2005), was named a Best of the Best from Food & Wine. Her second book,Quick and Easy Korean Cooking(2009), was named Gourmet magazine's cookbook of the month. She's also writtenQuick and Easy Mexican Cooking(2011).
Cecilia has taught cooking classes all over the world, including at the Korea Society in New York and Sur la Table.
